Do you never just leave it open for extra window, or to let all your fun party guests see that YOURS is the house where they should be?
I'd say it's nice to not feel completely closed off to the world, but if you really don't use it (by leaving your inside door open), take it off! Or maybe practice using it this Fall, and if your'e really sure after that -- gone. :)
